easy Dorayaki pancakes
Soft and yummy dorayaki pancakes….it takes just a moment to make them but they are awesome for a delicious breakfast….You can fill them with chocolate or red beans paste as traditionally…
- Yield: 6-8 pancakes
- Prep time:5 min
ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 teasp baking powder
- 60 gr sugar (4 tbs)
- 1 tbs honey
- 30 ml water (4 tbs)
- 95 gr multipurpose flour (8-10 tbs)

1 min each side
Directions:
- In a medium bowl beat 2 eggs with 1 pinch of salt ,1 tbs olive oil and 1 teasp baking powder
- Then, add gradually 4 tbs of sugar (60 gr) , 1 tbs honey (you can skip honey but i advise you to use it because it will give consistency to the batter and then a nice color to the pancakes) ,30 ml water (4-5 tbs )and 95 gr sifted multipurpose flour (8 -10 tbs cca)
- Whisk until you obtain a smooth batter then place the bowl in the fridge for 30 min.
- Set a non adherent frying pan over a low -medium heat and when the pan is hot cook your dorayaki pancakes for cca 1 min each side (when the surface of the pancake starts to bubble flip over and cook the other side)
- Fill them with your favorite filling (chocolate cream , nutella ,marmelade ,or traditional red bean filling (anko)
